SPARC is pleased to announce that, following an extensive search, Heather Falks has been selected as the new Program Director of our New Voices for the Theater program.
Heather is a civic minded theatre artist and educator. She has worked in the Richmond community as a director, actor and teaching artist for over ten years. Heather holds degrees in Theatre and Theatre Pedagogy from Virginia Commonwealth University and Texas State University.
Heather looks forward to taking on the new role as Program Director for New Voices for the Theater. As the program enters its 30th anniversary, Heather is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of the past and setting new goals to increase statewide participation and boost community involvement.
New Voices Program Manager Andrew Ballard will continue in his role, as will Program Assistant and Resident Advisor Lily Hargis – both are alumni of the New Voices program.
